In May of 2021, a group of us traveled down to Sacramento California to help serve at a Mario Murillo Living Proof Tent Crusade. Like many mornings after waking we all prayed together before the day started. It was the first morning of the tent when praying I received a vision of an orange shirt with black letters. So I told our group about the vision. We didn’t know if this was a warning and to be on the lookout. As it was, the country was feeling fear and anxiety but we were determined to share the good news of the gospel. Unsure, we headed to the event.
Myself and my friends were all volunteers serving to bring out food to poor people and invite people to the tent for the evening services. This day we were serving as ushers, greeters, prayer, and the welcome table. After the service was getting started Billie, my wife, called me and said, “I saw a man with an orange shirt with black letters at the back of the tent. Can you come to check him out? He is backed up to the canopy in the fire walkway. He is leaning down, not sure what his shirt says.”
Wow, I thought, as I ran to the other side of the tent to see for myself and was curious about what was written in black on the orange shirt. Arriving now in front of the man bent over praying I said, “Pardon me, can I ask you what your shirt says?” He quickly jumped to his feet and said with a shout, “America Shall Be Saved!” It was a message from God to all of us. We were not to worry anymore about the direction of our country because God was going to save it. But that wasn’t all of it.
The very next morning in prayer I saw a green shirt this time with with white letters. Then Billie said, “No I see black letters.” After some discussion and prayer, we were bent that day on looking for a green shirt with black and white letters. The day went as always, very busy delivering food out to the poor and asking them to come to the tent. As we gathered later that day at the tent we looked everywhere and didn’t see this shirt anywhere. It wasn’t until the night came to a close and we were gathering the stadium chairs to load them into the trucks that one of our friends called us over to a woman with a green shirt. As I walked over she had her back to us and our friend was looking toward me with a large smile.
Then as I came closer my friend said, “You won’t believe what the shirt says in white and black letters. The woman turned toward me and I saw written on her shirt the words “NO EXCUSES.” God was making it clear to all of us that He was going to save America and there would be “NO EXCUSES.”
The bottle of anointing oil in hand. “What is impossible with people is possible with God.” Luke 18:27 NLT
Over the years, I have asked the Lord for ways to be a blessing to others. He has always given me small things like, “Stop here and give this person money” or “Stop here and get gas, there is a man in the gas station that I want you to talk to.” So, after praying and thanking Him for my concrete panel-making business, I was talking to some friends and the wife said, “The Lord is saying you need to bless all your panels. They go all over the country and protect thousands of people in buildings, homes, and businesses. You need to bless them.”
I took this word and thought this was going to be impossible. But God. Then I looked up above the sink in my office kitchen, where I put the bible verse, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.” Luke 18:27 NLT. As I looked at the cabinet next to me, I saw the bottle of anointing oil my same friend gave me that my wife and I used to go around our factory and anoint everything God led us to anoint, doors, windows, machinery, etc… Then an idea came, I can pour some of this oil into our mold release oil and a portion of this oil will mix with 375 gallons. Now every concrete panel we produce will go out with anointing oil and will be prayed over. What a great idea, God! So, I did it right away and had one of the employees take a picture.

I need a Savior, because I can never pay the debt my sin has incurred. Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross, and shedding your blood to pay the price for my sin. I accept that You did this for me and ask that You extend Your eternal grace to me. Lord, please transform my heart and life in Your image, write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. I praise You for Your love, righteousness, and infinite mercy. Thank you for saving my soul.

It’s About Making Disciples That Signs & Wonders Follow Because They Truly Believe.
Making Disciples: The Path to True Belief and Miracles
The Essence of Discipleship
Discipleship goes beyond mere teaching and learning; it embodies the very essence of transformation through faith in Christ. To be a disciple of Jesus is to walk in the footsteps of belief, embodying the principles of his words and teachings. Paul wrote in Romans 12:2 that it’s a process of transformation and renewing your mind. Therefore, it is a journey of growth, commitment, and unwavering faith. True disciples are not just followers but active participants in spreading the good news and living a life that reflects the teachings of Christ.
Transformation Through True Belief
True belief is the cornerstone of discipleship. It is not about seeking signs and wonders as validation but walking out with an unshakable faith that naturally attracts divine manifestations. The emphasis is walking out as in the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:16-20. A Christian’s disciple’s faith is deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus and, as a result, manifests naturally in signs and wonders. When one truly believes, their life becomes a testament to their faith, and miracles follow as a natural consequence of their unwavering belief.
It is not about seeking signs and wonders as validation but having an unshakable faith that naturally attracts divine manifestations. A disciple’s faith is deeply rooted in hearing from the Holy Sprit & the biblical teachings they follow, manifesting naturally in signs and wonders.
Signs and Wonders: The Byproduct of Faith in Jesus Christ
Miracles and healings are often seen as the pinnacle of spiritual experiences, but they are merely the byproducts of obeying the Great Commission. With a renewed mind, disciples live following their faith, sharing the gospel; signs and wonders naturally follow. These miracles are not the focus but rather the evidence of a life lived in true belief. Through the genuine transformation of believers, the power of faith is showcased, drawing others to the same path of unwavering belief and commitment in Jesus Christ.
This is why the book of Acts 2:46, 47 Amplified records, “Day after day they met in the temple [area] continuing with one mind, and breaking bread in various private homes. They ate their meals with joy and generous hearts, praising God continually and having favor with all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were being saved.”
The Role of Disciple-Makers
Making Disciples on the streets of Hanford, California. Mario Murillo’s Hanford Tent brought many salvations, but these two young men couldn’t leave their home.
Those who make disciples play a crucial role in this transformative journey. They are the guides and mentors who instill the principles of faith, leading by example and nurturing the growth of new disciples. Their mission is not to produce followers who seek miracles but to cultivate individuals whose faith is so profound that miracles follow them. Disciple-makers are tasked with fostering a relationship with The Holy Spirit where true belief can flourish and signs and wonders are a natural outcome of a deep and abiding faith. Therefore, confirming Mark 16:20 New Living Translation, “And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.”
Living a Life That Draws Miracles
To live a life that draws miracles, one must first focus on cultivating a true and real relationship with Christ. This involves a commitment to spiritual growth, a dedication to the Bible’s teachings, and an unwavering trust in the truth found in the scriptures. Through this steadfast belief, disciples can witness and experience signs and wonders. By living a life that exemplifies the core principles of their faith, disciples become beacons of light, attracting divine manifestations of wonders that serve as a testament to their unwavering belief.
Matthew 10:8: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
Conclusion
In conclusion, the journey of discipleship is not about seeking miracles, but about embodying true belief. When disciples call their faith into obedience to Christ, genuine signs and wonders will naturally follow. The focus should always be on cultivating a deep and unwavering relationship with God, for it is through this that the power is manifested. By making disciples who truly put God first, we create a world where miracles are not sought after but the natural result of a life without regrets.
Philippians 3:13 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,….”
Revelation 12:11 Amplified: “And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.”
PS:
I have witnessed many miracles, signs, and wonders while walking with Christ. I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Remember these miracles, signs, and wonders are for me to be glorified, not for your benefit, but for adding to my church. Do not be like the disciples who wanted to build a memorial to Jesus, Moses, and Elijah on the mountain, for I am always doing a new thing. Instead, make disciples who, like Jesus, manifest miracles naturally and DO NOT GLORIFY MIRACLES like some do, and your reward will be greater than the protected man of miracles.”

Christmas Revival 2024. This Christmas, make Jesus King!
Last year, my wife and I served at four revival tents and various other events. Notably, we had many highlights, including our five-year-old winning a family to the saving knowledge of Jesus. Going into 2025, I want to begin this year with Thanksgiving and Praise.
I thank You, Lord, for 2024 for enlarging our businesses and ministries. I pray we never leave our home this year without purpose and prayer. May we be on fire to touch lives in 2025. We are asking for partners to pray with us for the following:
An intercessory prayer team to pray into our business and ministry vision.
A large salvation tent to fulfill our calling for more than a million souls.
A team to manage the tent.
Where There is Vision, There is Provision.
The Great Commission, Matthew 28:16-20 NKJV
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted it.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

In this article, I will be highlighting the warning signs that your ministry is turning into a “Christian Cult.” My reason for exposing these practices is to help you navigate a way out or completely avoid them. Perhaps these practices may already exist in your organization, so then, what? Initially, you must get to the root. Why? Get your axe ready!
“The people who sat in darkness saw a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.” Matt 4:16 NLT
Christian Cults always have a root. To identify the root, you need to go back to their foundation, forming or purpose. In other words, what caused the cult to form? Why? There is always a cause or need that presented itself, and their leader saw themselves as the savior. This is a dangerous mindset because it gives the enemy a strong foothold, especially because Satan is in the business of killing, steeling and destroying.
“Their leader saw themselves as the savior”
As we can see today, the church is divided. As it happens, it is a breeding ground for the devil to employ many strategies. What I am going to say now can and will be made into a book. But, for this article, I am focusing my attention on the apostolic calling. Perhaps this is you or someone you know. Either way, remember the Lord gives grace to the humble.
An “Apostolic calling” is someone who is called by the Holy Spirit to church planting and are “church guys or gals.” Therefore, if they say something like “I am not a church guy or gal” then what are they? Surely this must have been addressed somewhere in the bible, right? In fact, it was and Paul, who identified himself as an apostle, calling these people “false apostles” in 2 Corinthians 11:5-15. These are people wanting to be identified as apostles but were lacking fruit. Title worship!
“Title Worship”
Paul called these people “False Apostles” in 2 Corinthians 11:5-15
Next, let me address the leader calling themselves an apostle, but they are angry at the church(es). In fact, it is easy today to identify a problem like homelessness or drug use and see that the church is ill-equipped. Maybe, God has tugged at your heart to help solve the crisis. Yes, this truly can be an apostolic calling on your life, but it’s all in the way you use it. Simply put, it is a decision.
One, will you use it to build up or fortify the church(es), or will you use it to tear them down? Isolation is another choice, especially if you get rejected, another tactic employed by the enemy. Rejection may cause you to come out the other side saying, “I am not a church guy or gal.” Rejection can send you further downhill by the devil convincing you that you are their only savior and without you, they would be homeless.
Now, you have a choice to believe that you are their savior, say “I am not a church guy or gal”, and become the weapon the devil can use. A true in form, “Charismatic Cult Leader.” Not only does a cult leader not bear church fruit, but Paul identified them as “false apostles.” Now, get out the axe, if you find yourself down this rabbit hole, depending on how far, it is never too late to repent, ask God to show you a way out and get back on the path of true apostleship. Let’s use Paul as the example.
To begin with, Paul is a good example of someone with an Apostolic calling on their life. He was courageous and unafraid. Although there is that, he wrote his own story. Still, we can see that his calling lined up with the fruit of building churches and raising up leaders. If an apostolic leader wants to be called an apostle, he surely will have fruit to show. Paul didn’t refer to himself as an apostle until there was fruit.
Now let us explore what a “Christian Cult” looks like.
First, let me identify what a “Christian Cult” looks like so you can quickly identify the signs. For example, I will use Jeremiah Johnson’s video addressing common practices found in Christian ministries. Clearly, these are things that you should avoid. Next, I will be addressing other signs, then go into steps that you can establish to save your ministry from becoming a cult.
Let’s begin:
Five (5) Signs of “Christian Cults” That Brings Forth Leadership Worship
Need for Titles & Recognition….” Chief Prophet” or “Apostle so-and-so” – 1 Peter 5:1-3 (A Christian apostle is one that plants churches, nurtures them, moves in signs and wonders and has a track record of growth, like Paul. Oppositely, the “false apostle” opposes churches, says things like, “I am not a church guy” but wants to be called by the title. The false apostle has a track record of cultivating disunity in churches and causing church division). I address this in more detail below.
Everyone dresses, acts or talks/prays a certain way. If you don’t fit in, you will be sent away quickly.
Questions or differing perspectives are viewed as insubordinate behavior. Phrases like, “How dare you touch the Lord’s anointed.”
Loyalty and secrecy are required. “Can you meet with me and not tell the others?”
Five (5) Signs of "Christian Cults"
More Signs that signal a “Christian Cult”
Leader shows a persistent distrust – always questioning people’s motives, showing lack of hearing from the Holy Spirit.
Stockholm Syndrome found among the “disciples” – Cult leaders routinely “discipline” their “disciples”. Disciples under the influence of a charismatic leader frequently display unquestioning loyalty and devotion. In particular, even pray with similar words or phrases, trying to fit in with others. Cult leaders skillfully employ brainwashing techniques to create a dependency among their members and isolate them from outside influences. Often times, giving them a place to live, rather than teaching them independence. Many times finding openings in their family ties that they can drive a wedge or cause a separation. This seclusion, combined with a skewed perception of reality, provides the perfect conditions for Stockholm Syndrome to develop, elevating leaders to near-savior status. If someone refers to themselves as your “Spiritual Father”, it’s advisable to leave the situation promptly.
“Spiritual Father” – cult members often refer to their leader as their “Spiritual Father.” If this happens, this needs correction immediately. If left uncorrected and is found as common-place, RUN!
If someone refers to themselves as your “Spiritual Father”, it’s advisable to leave the situation promptly. It is a Cult!
False Apostles – Apostles plant and administrate churches – Not Despise them. (Paul addressed similar issues in Corinth, calling out “false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:13). Unlike these false teachers, who boasted about their credentials, Paul pointed to the transformed lives of the people he had ministered to as evidence of genuine ministry (2 Corinthians 3:1-3). True leaders glorify Christ and focus on the spiritual growth of their followers, not their personal acclaim).
Leader overworks disciples to the point of constant exhaustion. This tactic keeps disciples from hearing from the Holy Spirit. Often it is said, “we don’t need to be marinating in The Holy Spirit.”
Step One: The Light of Jesus
Every Christian organization must take steps to shine the light of Jesus over all their practices. To do this, it is best to have oversight by a trusted non-bias organization who specializes in keeping other Christian groups accountable. Yes, accountability is a must.
Where there is no guidance, a people fall, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. Prov. 11:14
Does your organization have non-bias oversight? If not, your ministry may fall prey to the enemy. How?
So, as God’s own chosen people, who are holy [set apart, sanctified for His purpose] and well-beloved [by God Himself], put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience [which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes, with good temper]; COL 3:12 Amp
Step Two: Humility
Practicing humility is vital for any Christian ministry, and nourishing this root is essential for growing and bearing abundantly good fruit. Understanding humility, lacking pride or arrogance, means taking every thought or action accountable to the cross. Yes, you may say something wrong, but be quick to apologize.
Leaders Must Be Known by Their “Humble Spirit”
Step Three: Gentleness
A gentle spirit believes the best about people and never discounts God’s plans for them. We all know the scripture, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
“they didn’t share the same vision.”
Therefore, in light of gentleness, when people leave your ministry for any reason, it is never appropriate to say to others, “they didn’t share the same vision.” Since it’s Jesus’ church to build, not ours, what does it matter? Another tactic is to tell people staying to not reach out to the one(s) leaving. This tactic helps the cult leadership to minimize their perceived loss. This begs to question, what are they hiding? Shouldn’t truth be a priority?
Step Four: Kindness
Kindness is characterized by acts of generosity, consideration, assistance, or concern for others, carried out without the expectation of praise or reward. So, when a ministry administers kindness as a priority, you will see the fruits. For instance, they will never overwork their people, and their plans include breaks, food, and generous consideration for others.
Step Five: Patience / Peace
Patience and peace is something that you experience and feel as a tranquil hovering spirit. You have probably walked into a room and felt tension, which is the opposite of peace, lacking patience. To thrive in unity, a ministry must move in the spirit of patience that brings peace into all their spheres of influence.
Hopefully, these five steps found in COL 3:12 can help guard your ministry from becoming a “Christian Cult”. On the contrary, your ministry may already be showing signs of being a cult and need deliverance. Jesus is always gracious to deliver even the worst offenders. His blood is enough.

Riman Team DBK at Irvine, CA.
Riman skincare products conferences are an awesome way to learn more. Also, they are a way to have fun with friends and strategize on how to level up faster. In particular, we learned from many of the best in industry. Notably, we are part of a team called DBK which we in fun call Doing Business for the King. Also, it’s best toFollow Riman on Instagram for upcoming events and new product offerings. The next conference will be in the springtime is Las Vegas, Nevada. My advice, is to take time to attend every conference if possible.

Vegan & Cruelty Free
This is awesome. Much of the skin care industry has used or are using animal testing or animal products. Riman is Vegan and animal cruelty-free. Certainly, feeling great about products that do what they say and are vegan and cruelty-free makes you want to sell their products even more! Certainly, that’s why I have no problem promoting them on my businesses’ website, DURASKIRT™ mobile home skirting. Finally, I cannot wait to hear the comments on this blog post.
I believe, I am not the only one asking this question. Lately, we have been seeing outpourings of repentance. Moreover, it seems like these outpourings are signs of a “Revival Pregnancy” exists. If you allow me, I would liken outpourings of repentance of sin to Braxton Hicks contractions. Surely, they’re a sign that our spirits are experiencing a Revival Pregnancy.
To add, the Greek word for repentance is metanoia. To be sure, metanoia means to think differently, so much so that your mind changes to God’s perspective which brings salvation for a sinner who yields to it. Please, if you will, let me go a step further to say that for revival to happen our perspective to change to reflect the first 70 that were sent out two by two. As revealed by reading Acts 10: 17 NKJV:
The Seventy Return with Joy
17 Then the [e]seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”
Like past revivals, they began with outpourings that eventually gave birth to a full-blown renewal. Certainly, renewals all have the same look and feel. Undoubtably, renewals not only have many repenting from sins, but they are followed by signs and wonders. Mark 16:17-18 NKJV, “And thesesigns will follow those who[a]believe:In My name they will cast out demons;they will speak with new tongues;18 they[b]will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
My second question is, what will it take for an outpouring to go from repentance to demonstrating signs and wonders?
For me, I sat down pondering this question this very morning, 6/2/2024. Incidentally, the day after Pride month began. And, as a side note, our island community had a Pride Day scheduled yesterday at a very visible park where we reside in Washington State. We knew this because of leaving the island to go to a baseball game to watch our grandson play. As we left our island, we saw the signage and small tents being set up. Then about an hour later we heard and saw fire and aide vehicles heading out toward the island. This is never a good sound.
It was then, after the game was over, that we found ourselves and others banned from our island homes. (Note: this is a very rare occurrence, twice in almost twenty years when access was fully denied for hours.) Then, almost like this was not enough, rain began to come down as well. We then learned that four cars were involved and people were airlifted. Still, we are waiting to hear if everyone involved in the accident are going to be okay. Still praying. The reason I mentioned this is that my heart is breaking.
Why is my heart breaking?
What is “Revival” waiting for? “US” America!
My heart breaks because why aren’t we having a Revival Day? Why do we allow the enemy to have the parade or a day? What is revival waiting for? So this was my morning today as I pondered and cried out to the Lord. It was, sitting in His presence, that I was given the reason revival has not fully begun this morning. Hopefully, I am not the only person getting this answer or posing the same question to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As revealed by my prayers, the Holy Spirit spoke a gentle word to me. It was, “revival is waiting for a spiritual repentance.”
“Spiritual Repentance”
Spiritual repentance or spiritual renewal is vital to transport an outpouring into revival. Clearly, we must repent of our unbelief before God will allow a revival or renewal to be birthed. So, what does spiritual repentance look like? Of course, I asked this question, “what is spiritual repentance?”
For me, spiritual repentance is asking forgiveness for my unbelief and letting the Holy Ghost reform my thinking. Yes, a complete reformation and change from wordly thoughts and ideas to spiritual truth. For instance, “do I really believe in Jesus?” Do I take Jesus at His word(s)? To not, does it mean that I call Jesus a liar? Even though, I thank Him for His patience. For one thing, I know from many testimonies His patience has limitations. How so? You might ask.
“do I really believe in Jesus?” Do I take Jesus at His word(s)?
So far, I have met two people in the past couple of years when the Holy Spirit was the evangelist. Indeed, the Holy Ghost led them to Jesus and both became ministers of the gospel. However, I do believe that a full revival is eminent. Most assuredly, it is coming sooner than later. In my opinion, the spark is being kindled as I write this blog. So what is He waiting for? Us.
Additionally, for me, I had a dream more than 8 years ago where the Holy Spirit said He was going to use me to call America to revival. The word He told me was to shout, “Arise!” Incidentally, the first letters of USA are “US.” And, A stands for America. Therefore, He is waiting for “US” America, moreover and United, US.
He is waiting for “US” America. Arise USA! Arise!
Now, back to this spiritual repentance. I must repent of my spiritual unbelief. Like the constitution of the United States, so eloquently says, “I hold these truths to be self-evident.” Do I likewise allow the truths of the gospel to be evidenced in me? In reality, am I experiencing a Mark 16:17-18 to follow my walk with Jesus? Some today are agnostic, meaning they don’t believe these signs are for today and Jesus was not speaking to our generation when He said in John 14:12-14 NKJV, 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may beglorified in the Son.14 If you[a]ask anything in My name, I will do it.”
Like all previous Revivals, God is waiting on US. And, as it happens, He is waiting for our belief to align with His son. An example is, the soldier in the Gospel of Luke. More precisely, Luke 7:1-10 NKJV “Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. 2 And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. 3 So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, 5 “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.”
An example is, the soldier in the Gospel of Luke.
6 Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. 7 Therefore, I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
9 When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”10 And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well [a]who had been sick.
This shows that Revival came to the soldiers’ servant through his demonstration of belief.
In Conclusion: I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t say I need to repent from my unbelief because if my desire is revival I need to walk in revival. A Godly revival. I need to see signs and wonders follow me. And, not just seeing it follow a traveling evangelist. In me…yes, use me Jesus! Arise in me!
If this also is your prayer, please let me know. And, as always, if you want to know Jesus you can pray the following prayer:
A Plan for Redemption
If you are like me and need to examine yourself. See what is allowing to take up your time. Now making an effort asking God to show you what needs to be removed. Moreover, what needs to be added. You can begin by saying this simple prayer…..
Jesus,
I am a sinner. I’ve done a lot that is wrong or evil. Furthermore, I cannot do anything good in my own power. I need your love and forgiveness. Lord, I am sorry for all the sin that I have committed in my life, and that I know I will commit in the future. I want to live my life for You, doing what is right, and pleasing to You. I need a Savior, because I can never pay the debt that my sin has incurred. Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross, and shedding your blood to pay the price for my sin. I accept that You did this for me, and I ask that You extend Your eternal grace to me. Lord, please transform my heart and my life in Your image, write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. I praise You for Your love, Your righteousness, and Your infinite mercy. Thank you for saving my soul.
Today, I desire to go all in with you, Jesus. I want that set-apart life that leads me to wholeness and real happiness. I desire peace beyond understanding as your word promises.
In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior,
Amen.
Now, for the sake of Revival, repent of your unbelief.
Now that you received Jesus and placed your faith in him, it’s time to know that He has given you His authority. You are a son or daughter of the most high God! Begin using words that build yourself and others up.
Recently, my wife and I began doing an extended water fast. Unfortunately, at day 5 we both began cramping. Then, this is when we discovered the need for both salt & light. Perhaps, some of you already know this about our bodies, especially those in the medical field or learned. So, this will be a review. For those of you that may not know, it may be news to you, but be assured my intentions are good. Now, If you allow me, I will put the light on the subject of salt and light.
Now, If you allow me, I will put a light on the subject of salt and light.
Firstly, what is salt, and why do our bodies need it?
Let’s begin with salt. What is salt, and why do our bodies need it? Most assuredly, salt is essential as it contains minerals that our body needs to make use of vitamins and conduct electrical signals from our brains. Lacking salt in our bodies can cause diseases and eventually leading to death.
Technically, salt contains mostly sodium and chloride, which are positively charged electrolytes. As a bonus, naturally occurring salt, like Himalayan salt, contains even more minerals that are also electrolytes like Potassium and Magnesium. Surprisingly, there are said to be 84 total minerals in Himalayan salt and many are known to be electrolytes.
So, what are electrolytes, and how does it help our body to function?
Simply put, each electrolyte serves a different purpose. Furthermore, electrolytes aid to regulate H2O distribution, administer acid base stability, and communicate nerve impulses. Finally, they contribute to energy generation and blood clotting. Besides, since our bodies are made up of an average of 60% water, water alone cannot make the body run.
Astoundingly, simple water without electrolytes, which has a very low ion content, cannot conduct electricity. But, when an electrolyte solvent is added, it forms ions in water. Thus, it is called electrolyte water, making the solution a strong electrical conductor.
Still, impulses from our brain are electrically charged and require the water to transmit these electrical impulses. Thus, making the intake of both water and minerals detrimental to a healthy functioning body.
An electrolyte solution makes simple water a strong electrical conductor.
Secondly, what is Light, and how does it help our body to function?
Truly, scientific studies show light is good for our human bodies. In particular, sunlight helps the body to produce vitamin D which improves our moods and strengthens our immune system.
Get this!
Sunlight Entering Our Eyes
As sunlight enters our eyes, it goes through the hypothalamus to regulate the circadian rhythm through complex pathways that include melatonin, serotonin, and body temperature. Most

notably, circadian rhythm has dramatically positive effects on your body and mood.
Thus, sunlight benefits are:
Better night’s sleep
Improved mood
More energy
Now, let’s look deeper into God’s word so we come out with a more knowledgeable understanding. Turn to Matthew 5:13-16 and let’s see what Jesus, The Creator, is really talking about when He was quoted in the following text as saying…..
JESUS said, “you are the salt of the earth, and you are the light of the world.”
Initially, let’s read this scripture as it is written.
Matthew 5:13-16 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
Now let’s’ read it with the definitions added for Salt and Light.
Matthew 5:13-16 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (added definitions for salt and light)
A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
13 You are the salt (positively charged electrolytes that make water in the body conductive) of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men. 14 You are the light (helps the body to produce vitamin D which improves our moods and strengthen our immune systems) of the world.

If, like me, perhaps you have or are attending a church, tithing, attending a bible study, participating in a corporate prayer group while not quite feeling a move of God. Even though the scriptures promise this. Maybe it’s time to examine the vine where you’re attached or if the vine is supplying all the needed nutrients. You see, like natural plants, you need proper feeding to fully develop into good fruit.
FYI: The church I presently attendPURSUIT NW in Snohomish and Seattle, WA is bearing a bountiful harvest of good fruit.
Did you know Jesus alludes to this in the parable of the seed Sower. In the natural we understand when producing good fruit it needs correct feeding and watering to fully mature. Likewise, just because a ministry is bearing fruit does not mean the fruit will become good on its own. It has everything to do with the soil.
Does your church body have the proper soil and nutrients to produce good fruit?
To judge this, we need to let scriptures expose the making of the good soils by examining closely how Jesus did it. You see, it’s not by our criticism’s things will change but by the actions of following Jesus. Thus, Let Jesus be the judge.
I am not going to give you a formula to produce good fruit. Why? Because, like fruit, nutrients and soils conditions vary as to what kinds of fruit you’re producing. The only thing I will say is that the fruit must be the kind that reproduces more fruit or exponential growth while placing Jesus as King. If you belong to a church that is not producing fruit, then like the fig tree Jesus rebuked, the church not bearing fruit will die.
Why must a tree or vine producing bad fruit die?
God loves His vineyard and loves it when people turn and follow Him. He hates it when a church falls away from teaching holiness because He is coming back to a spotless bride. Therefore, He, like a good gardener, prunes and replaces churches as needed to accomplish this purpose.
But God Mat 24:24-30
Thankfully, God has a better plan than us. If left to us and our gardening methods many churches would be uprooted while producing good fruit. In Mat 24:24-30 there is a decision made by the gardener to let the wheat grow with the tares. As a result, just because the enemy sows in hollow, seedless members, the good fruit its producing will be protected.
Maybe you are good fruit producing more good fruit in a church with weeds. Should you quit? Or leave? I would recommend staying if you are given a place to follow the will of God in your life. Nonetheless, for some reason, God is calling you somewhere else or to do something that the headship of that church disagrees for me it’s clear that you must leave.
Homework
Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Also, I recommend reading the entire New Testament. After this you will begin to understand what a Spotless Bride looks like and a real fruit producing church is called to do. Moreover, keep in mind this fact: The only thing Jesus commissioned His followers to do is spread the Good News of the “Gospel” making disciples to follow doing the same. This is our life’s work and if you are a disciple this is your life’s work too.
